Assistant Professor Dr. Sompong O-Thong is from the Department of Biology, Faculty of Applied Sciences at Thaksin University, Thailand.  He received his Bachelor of Sciences (Hons) from Thaksin University in 2002 before continuing his Master Degree in Biotechnology from Prince of Songkla University, Thailand. He later received his Ph.D in the same field in 2007 before pursuing his postdoctoral at Technical University of Denmark. He specializes in Energy Biotechnology, Microbial Ecology, Thermophilic Bacteria and Achaea Diversity, Fermentation Technology, Molecular Biological Techniques (FISH, DGGE, and Proteomics), Environmental Biotechnology, and Anaerobic Digestion. He received the NRCT Innovation Award from the National Research Council of Thailand in 2016
Associate Professor Dr. Abdul Halim Ramli is the Deputy Rector of Academic Affairs at UiTM Negeri Sembilan.  He received his bachelor degree in Islamic Studies from University Kebangsaan Malaysia in 1989 before pursuing his master degree in 1998. He later attained a Ph.D in Malaysian History (Ethnic Studies) from University Malaya.   He actively publishes books and journal articles relating to Ethnic Relationship in Malaysia. In 2016, he received the Best Author Award from UiTM Negeri Sembilan.
